Sussex County LEPC

Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know

The Sussex County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) was appointed by the Delaware State Emergency Response Commission (SERC). The LEPC provides a forum for interaction and information sharing among businesses, government officials, emergency organizations, and the public.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLANS
EPCRA law requires that each LEPC prepare an emergency response plan for its district that includes information such as potential chemical hazards and procedures to be followed in the event of a chemical emergency. Contact the Sussex County LEPC to review it's emergency response plan.
